Concordia Language Villages

Standard

Dear parents,

From time to time, I get emails from Concordia Language Villages, a company who hosts language immersion camps in Minnesota. If you are looking for a unique, exciting learning experience this summer, you might want to check this out. Here is a brief description that they have posted on their website: “Where language comes alive – Deep in the North Woods of Minnesota, we create a place that is both culturally authentic and uniquely our own. In the Language Villages, everything from the music played to the dishes used in the dining hall reflect the culture each was designed to represent. Immerse yourself in the world of a native speaker, where you can truly learn to live a language, not just speak it.”

They are also hosting a Summer Giveaway contest – but I see now that the deadline is tomorrow, April 1, to submit a video. If students are so inclined to rush to get a video done to submit by tomorrow at a chance to win a free 2 week trip – go for it! 🙂

Here is some information about the camps for parents who are interested in possibly sending their students this summer:

If you as parents end up sending your child to one of these camps, please let me know! 🙂

Gracias,

Sra. Toth
